The annual Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG) Conference will be held in Phoenix, Arizona this year. Exhibitions, workshops, seminars and demonstrations will take place over four days from 23-26 May 2012. The 42nd annual SNAG conference includes presenters and workshop demonstrators such as German goldsmith Bettina Speckner, American mokume-gane expert Steve Midgett and American enamelling artist Jessica Calderwood. Exhibitions include ASUMetals: Alumni Exhibition, an collection of works from gold and silversmithing artists who studied at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, where I completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts in metalsmithing in 2004. Decades of former students will be represented in the exhibition, including one of my recent brooches. The exhibition will be held at Night Gallery, 2000 East Rio Salado Parkway, Tempe Marketplace, Tempe, Arizona and will run from 4 - 27 May.
